Is exercise a source of stress or anxiety in your life?
Do you repeatedly fall into the same old patterns of inactivity?
Want a deeper, more meaningful relationship with physical activity?
Are you a professional wanting to help your patients/clients move better?
We all have different values, different histories, and different issues around moving our bodies. But no matter our psychological obstacles, those bodies all need to move! The most successful movers are those who are able to align their individual values with movement. But what are your values? Could you list them?
This dynamic, online workshop with co-authors biomechanist Katy Bowman and psychologist Dr. Diana Hill will help you identify your deepest values, connect them to movement and put them to work! You will leave with 2 or 3 key values, your 3 “core moves,” and clear methods for using your values to bust through familiar excuses we can all relate to.
Sometimes the first body part we have to flex is the mind
This doesn’t mean sitting down and listening! We’ve created a workshop that will have you connecting to your values with some playful, physical embodiment. Come spend an hour with Diana and me and leave with your movement “north” so you can reorient yourself to physical activity in various ways and settings that work for and are meaningful to YOU.
